La
Locanda dei Cinque Cerri is a country inn located
deep in the green hills of the Tuscan Emilian Apennine
mountain range just three kilometres from the Sasso
Marconi exit off the Florence-Bologna (A1) highway.
Centred on a 45 acre working farm, the 19th century
structure was recently restored to its original
historic finishes with special care taken with the
selection of materials (exterior pavements in local,
hand made terra cotta and oil finished Italian oak
flooring throughout the mansion’s interior.
The
inn’s six rooms located on the mansion’s
second floor, provide a charming and rich atmosphere
featuring antique family furnishings and decorations
acquired over the course of 4 generations. Each room
comes with its own modern bath with shower, independent
heating and air conditioning, mini bar, 17” TV
and telephone.
The
Locanda is both an ideal spot as a stop over while
vacationing as well as a convenient accommodation
for those travelling on business:
